Y Crochan cafe is one of the most creative places to eat, surrounded by 9 craft studios and next to the award winning King Arthur's Labyrinth and Corris Mine Explorers underground attractions. Seating is now available both indoors and outdoors and we have taken all necessary measures to ensure that Y Crochan cafe is Covid Secure.

Serving delicious food and drink, locally sourced and fresh produce is used across the menu where possible.  Food, drink and meals are served all day so if you are looking for a place to eat between 10am and 5pm (last orders from the kitchen at 4pm), call by.

Y Crochan cafe has wonderful views of the densely wooded hillsides of the Corris valley - this is where the underground attractions are hidden.

At Y Crochan cafe we source the finest local produce from across Snowdonia, Mid Wales and North Wales. It's fresh and seasonal creating delicious food and drink. Mouthwatering dishes are served throughout the day and include our ever popular all-day breakfast and our Burger Menu with Welsh steak, Welsh lamb, Welsh sausages and vegan burgers available. You can also enjoy freshly made Y Crochan soup, hot pasties, sausage rolls, breakfast baps, a range of sandwiches, pasta dishes, bangers & mash, Y Crochan baked scones and a range of cakes. Try the delicious Zealots (baristas based up in North Wales) freshly ground coffee, a range of teas, hot chocolate and a selection of cold drinks.  Check out our menu. Sit at one of the many tables outside and soak up the stunning views.

During the summer months we also have a pop-up Ice Cream and Dessert Parlour where Mario's award winning Welsh ice cream is served. You will also find hot Belgian Waffles and a selection of fully loaded ice cream milk shakes.  

Linked from Y Crochan cafe, through an archway, is a vibrant Welsh food and drink shop "Bwtri Y Crochan" which translates into English as "The Y Crochan Larder". The Cafe now has its own larder, we use it and you can too...

The Larder is stocked with a tempting range of Welsh food and drink much of which has been grown, reared or produced just a few miles from Corris. You will also find our Y Crochan baked  award winning Bara Brith. Many of the products found in The Larder have been awarded a coveted True Taste award. You will find a good selection of Welsh cheeses including cheddars, goats cheese and other soft cheeses, butter, milk, pates, preserves, honey, jam, biscuits, cakes, apple juice, sauces, dressings, a range of Welsh whiskeys and liqueurs, 34 different bottled beers, 11 different ciders and much more. Welsh food and drink Gift Hampers are now available or you can make your own bespoke hampers by choosing from our growing range of produce. Come along and find a little taste of Wales to take away with you or to give to someone special, they make great presents.

Come in for morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea; hot and cold meals are served throughout the day and there's free WIFI too.

Y Crochan can seat up to 80 people (seating is restricted at the moment due to social distancing), making it a perfect meal stop for coaches and groups. Further seating is available outside, much of which overlooks the small children’s play area, ideal for keeping an eye on your little ones. High chairs and a bottle warming facility are available.
