Y Crochan café is in the foothills of Southern Snowdonia on the border of mid Wales and north Wales and is surrounded by 9 craft studios, King Arthur's Labyrinth and a host of attractions.
Y Crochan café is light, bright and modern with views all around of the densely wooded hillsides of the Corris valley.
The cafe is now open every day until 5th November 2017 from 10am to 5pm.
At Y Crochan café we source fantastic local produce from across Snowdonia, mid and north Wales. It's fresh and seasonal creating delicious food and drink. Mouth-watering dishes are served throughout the day and include our popular all-day breakfast and a growing selection of traditional, and contemporary, Welsh Rarebits.
Linked from Y Crochan cafe , through an archway is a vibrant Welsh food and drink shop "Bwtri Y Crochan" which translates into English as "The Y Crochan Larder". The Cafe now has its own larder, we use it and you can too...
The Larder is stocked with a tempting range of Welsh food and drink much of which as been grown, reared or produced just a few miles from Corris. There is also a growing range of Y Crochan baked items including an award winning Bara Brith. Many of the products found in The Larder have been awarded a coveted True Taste award. You will find a good selection of Welsh cheeses including cheddars, goats cheese and other soft cheeses, Welsh meats, butter, milk, pates, preserves, honey, jam, biscuits, cakes, apple juice, sauces, dressings, a range of Welsh whiskeys and liqueurs, 34 different bottled beers, 11 different ciders and much more. Welsh food and drink Gift Hampers are now available or you can make your own bespoke hampers by choosing from our growing range of produce. Come along and find a little taste of Wales to take away with you or to give to someone special, they make great presents.
Call in for morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea; hot and cold meals are served throughout the day.
Y Crochan can seat up to 80 people, making it a perfect meal stop for coaches and groups. Further seating is available outside, much of which overlooks the small children’s play area, ideal for keeping an eye on your little ones. High chairs and a bottle warming facility are available.
