Visitors to Bumble Bee Quilting can have a go at making their own pictures and bags this summer. They can have fun, designing and making colourful items to take away using the four new 'needle felting' machines installed in the workshop.

Needle felting is creative and fun, it's sewing but not as you know it - with no thread, the fibres simply mesh together. All the colourful materials are supplied. Visitors take away their own creations as a souvenir of their visit to the Craft Centre.

With four new machines to use, visitors of all ages can have a go at creating felt pictures, bags and other items in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Children are very welcome as the machines are safe for even the smallest fingers and they only have to be able to reach the pedals. Sessions last for 30 - 45 minutes and cost from £5.
