Visiting the Corris Craft Centre workshops in Mid Wales
The Craftspeople are now busy in their workshops making unique hand crafted items, perfect for special Christmas gifts with a difference. Many of the workshops open daily during the run up to Christmas and during the winter months. It's always best to contact the Craftspeople direct before making a special journey. You can also work with the craftspeople themselves to make your own special gifts. Drop in to paint a piece of pottery or to dip a pair of candles. Book a workshop to turn a bowl, to make a piece of rustic furniture or to make cards and gift bags. Corris Craft Centre is situated on the main A487 between Machynlleth and Dolgellau. There is plenty of free car and coach parking with blue badge spaces within a few yards of the Craft Centre.
Corris Craft Centre is easily accessible by public transport. There are direct trains from Birmingham to Machynlleth every two hours. There are regular buses from Aberystwyth, Machynlleth and Dolgellau (X 32 stops outside, 34 stops in Corris). Sustrans cycle route 8 passes nearby.
Corris Craft Centre is the starting point for the King Arthur’s Labyrinth Underground Adventure and Bards’ Quest.
